Next Round of Foundations goes Tuesday (7/12) at 0600 and 1200.
There are only a few movements and workouts in CrossFit in which you benefit from being tall. Since I can’t program a workout that involves: getting things off high shelves, not worrying about someone sitting in front of you at the movie theater, or being popular in high school, I decided we should do this workout.
On a serious note, we all have to overcome certain obstacles thrown at us due to body type, and certain body types do come with certain advantages in some workouts. However, your general fitness level and conditioning go a lot way in mitigating those obstacles. As I am sure we will see during this WOD, it will not be the tallest that win and the shortest that lose. Strength and conditioning will play a large role.
