We probably don’t practice gymnastics movements enough. This is partially because many of the movements are not conducive to timed archive (like skin the cats) and are hard to measure in terms of speed or quantity. It is good to practice gymnastics outside of the timed environment and focus on improving form and quality. The results will be: greatly improved body awareness (which will help your squat, snatch and almost everything else we do) and the kind of all over strength that will help you hold a large amount of weight over your head. And who doesn’t want to look like a gymnast?
